2022-11-03 Lil Trailer Mods

Sooo, a couple years ago bought a small trailer, named 'LilT' for local motobike hauls.

Probably paid too much for it.. but WTFO?

Currently, have a line on a beautiful 1979 KZ1300 and 1980 engine.

Don't want to haul 'big trailer' in LA traffic, so let's get LilT ready to rock, yes?

First off, LilT needs a real wheel chock, not just a 'stop chock'. My very good friend Ray Slocomb, RIP Ray and Patti, modified this Condor, and Ray's family was cool to let me have it.
So let't put it to work, yes? First assembly and adjusment for FJR front tire.

When the tire rolls up, the bottom chock should be just above the ground plane. Like this.

What the stock assembly looked like on the trailer.

A winters day, central Kali.

LHS tailighight in need of love. Sierra Products.

Model SP7L. The unit is busted up, need to order a new one. Glued broken lense best possible...But not permanent fix.

More progress.

I have woeful tools at disposal for fabricating.

The best I config I thought of...
Previously, 3 bike 'spots'.. but w big street bikes..
One at a time?

Winch angle offset for good spool.
Repurposed previous front wheel chock  for mounting block.
No welding required, back to previous comment...

90 dollar winch, Harbor Freight, with remote control!

Someday, need to learn to weld, buy equip, notch the game up...

For now, it will work.

Angles.. This should work..

With Condor wheel chock and winch.. even a disabled bike should make the ramp..

IMHO, the good purpose for an Li MC battery...
