First ride since working last outage, 1R24.

Foggy in morning. And I forgot to bring heated jacket. FJR had dead battery and forgot to unload saddlebag. Brr.

166 was busy. Soon 166 will be a Wed only ride. Too much Saturday traffic.

Mexican restaurant at Pine Mountain. Good food, cool weather at +5,200 feet elevation.

About 10 miles frm here, a massive cricket migration! I kept feeling something strike my boots and shins. And the traction was sometimes iffy, I blamed the
worn down knobby. But as I looked, the road was crawling with crickets! As in blanketed, as in a veritable cricket fest.

A fun ride. Although I didn't see the boyz at Pine Mtn gas station, figured they had pulled a "we're outta here, yah snooze yah lose" trick.
Found later they were hiding behind the gas pumps. They ran the complete loop, Lockwood Valley back to Ventucopa to 166. 
I did an up-and-back on Hudson Valley Rd to Taft then 58 home.
