The Road Home
Well, somehow it just happened, again. Barabus was looking for a riding partner and a different route. I've ridden with Barry and trust his riding and decision making skills, so I said 'Sure, let's ride'.
Then old Barry goes and invites TWN, and the fun got even funner. Before the giggles started though, there was a price to pay, and debt was named I-80. We slabbed from Park City, Utah to Susanville, Ca, ~630 miles, and for the most part was boring, hot, and ugly. However, there were some moments of levity and beauty.Twn displaying his hat size..
Barabus – had enough of that sitting crap..
..and Bonneville! I kept looking for a fast Indian..
Tres Fjr's
The man, the legend, takes a salt bath
And immediately ruins a perfectly good set of riding boots..
Look how the salt, just in the air, attacked TWN's camera
A dust storm
A cloud twister..
One of my favorites, a 'phuckU' cloud. No photoshop, honest.

It was warm..
A rest stop
Ahh, this is better..

The BurgerBarn. TWN and Barabus had the 1.5 pounder, I wimped out and had the 'regular' burger. You could later smell their burps at 80.
Revenge! Ahh, please honey, can I stay out more night? Oh, he was talking to Fairlaner!
Finally, the Pacific Ocean. We rode 36 from Red Bluff to Leggett, then Leggett to the end of Ca 1.
Twn knew of a good hotel that was in Fort Bragg. We walked to a restaurant overlooking a bay inlet and feasted on food a slight bit better than the Long Branch in Creston, CA.
