2009-03-23 A Winters Day Ride

Sorry guys, not much time for text but thought some of snow-bound buds might enjoy a virtual ride through the Central Kali Paso Robles area. San Miguel mission.

Barn in San Miguel. Andrew liked barns.

A slight jaunt up 101 to save some time, have chores later today, after all...

Snow on the mountain? Really? Looking north above King City, I guess.

For my bud RenoJohn - he has Post Office fever...

Small town life.

Overlooking lake San Antonio from the Pleyto cemetery.

Dead people. So tell me again, how BIG are your PROBLEMS? In the end, it just don't matter. Really. This guy died then his dog did too.

..continued.

Always remember, respect, those who died for our freedoms today. Don't get me started on how idiots today give away freedoms paid in blood by those before us.

I would of liked to meet this guy - apparently he was a RIDER!

See what I mean? I hope you phucks do something has eleqount as this when I kick.. LOL.

On down the road, the BeeRock store. The owner rides, he's great to bikers, and the store is for sale. If he had motobiker camping...

A tale of 2 lakes; San Antonio to the north, Naciamento to the south, divided by one 2 lane road. San Antonio first.

Naciamento next.

Yes, we are still in a drought. Billions of dollars will be lost this next crop season from the San Joaquin valley due to no water. This is Naciamento.

...continued

The yellow mustard is out, way to early. So too are the almond blossoms. Don't count on almonds this year, folks.

A new road for me! Always wondered where this dirt road went..

Last shot.. battery dead..

All in all, a great day and nice ride. Found some new roads local to me. Met a nice guy who took my foto in front the mission; 'I ride too' he said. Do you know about AdvRider.com I asked? 'Sure' said he.. and so the infamous ADV salute was instituted in front of a sacred religious place. I think Tim would be proud..

Snowbound buds? Don't worry, your time is arriving - soon....
