Wow - for some, this has been a busy month. RenoJohn and the 10n10 rally. NAFO, Barb's gig, and SFO too. Oh well for me, lack of dollars and impending heavy OT keep me close to home.

What to do, other than sulk?

So last night me n' Mistress dCarver had outdoors movies! We watched the very well produced HardMiles2 by Dean Tanji. Don't laugh, this was great fun on a nice warm night, and the projector really did a great job against the smooth white 'screen'.

All the dawgs in da hood came over to watch..

Sunday AM arrived right on time, and I decided to take Wabs out for a shakedown run. Recent valve clearance check, and some cool Farkles installed - lot's of wiring. Wabs now sports an ABS defeat switch, 1 headlight kill switch (to save power for heated gear, lights, etc) and a bunch o' other stuff too.

Anyway, found a cool road that went no where - my kind of road. I'll be taking the FJR back there as the pavement is perfect, no traffic, and the corners exceptional.

Stay the phuck out, ok?

Backtracked a bit then thought 'Find some dirt, see if the Anti-Abs switch mod was worth the time and effort. So I did!
First, some street stuff.

Finally, dirt! This road heads west to the ocean. Most don't know it exists.

Like many, every time I see a barn I think of Orangevale.

After a bit more of this I ended up in Cambria, discovered a car show in progress!

And a cool little farm with home grown veggies - dirt road stuff only! Dirt rocks - so very cool to have a bike than can do SS1k's on the pavement and also handle dirt!
