2020-12-05 Can't lift to centerstand

Something changed. Used to be able to heft the old gurl onto centerstand.. But after tire change, no way, the angle is much too steep and few handholds are available.

So I added a 3/4" chunk of wood to the lift. That made it possible, but not easy. The feller who rebuilt the engine told me he actually used a an overhead crane to lift the rear, then manually deploy the centerstand. I don't have a crane..

Could it be the new tire is incorrect size or is this a known KZ1300 1979 A1 issues? I should add the Progressive rear shocks are at 40 psig out 70 psig max. And yes, could lift to CS with Progressives installed, they have been on the KZ for years.

Close up of the magic board..

Any ideas, oh smart KZ1300 peeps?

Thanks In Advance, dCarver

Just like magic! Added a few psi to the front fork. Surprised at the rise in suspension. So, a few psi (actual unknown, need to buy a small pp with gauge, but less than 10) in conjunction with a 3/4" piece of plywood under rear wheel  did the trick.!

Thanks All!
