2021-06-09 Time to Smog the F250
Took it to Ferrell's Auto in Atascadero. Pretest failed miserably.
Hi Co, EGR not working.
Took her home, found one vacuum line plugged, and a port under the carb capped. Given hose length, and no other ports available,
safe to say the line should be connected to that port. So I did.
This part is broken. Look at RHS, the metal conductor is broken.

Called Paso Robles Ford, Fred, who said it is a 'Carb hot idle compensator', but also "Don't trust Ford nomenclacture!".
Part number D7DZ9B532A. Hard to find, discontinued from Ford.

Called Paso Napa store, Steve, who was recommended by Fred.
The compensator has two vacuum lines, one goes to carb port, the other to to the intake manifold, a 3 way vacuum connection.
This is vacuum hose at carb bottom.

Here's the distribution port.

I might be able to fix the broken part by soldering a wire to it.
2021-06-25 Update
Ferrell's Auto fixed smog problem, it's only $$, right? Found one vacuum line incorrectly routed. I probably did that.. so good for another two years..
