The joys of WiredGeorge Carbs continues. I sent two sets to WG.

Carb #2, an eBay carb problems -

1. Fuel not delivered to bowl due to incorrectly installed clips
2. Fuel overflow in carb 2
3. Jammed, cross-threaded pilot jet in middle carb, left hand side pilot
4. Pilot jets not correctly adjusted, one was only .5 turns out (FSM says 1.5, kz1300 experience says 3 to 3.5 turns out.

Carb #1, OEM problems

1. 2 of 3 float bowls have cross threaded drain plugs
2. 1 float bowl has heli-coil installed
3. Had to run bolts from a battery into two of three carb drains. The thread isn't the same, but had no choice

Made some custom tools to adjust the hard to reach middle carb pilot LHS. Tool on left 
made from welding rod. It worked well. Ground down screwdriver did not.

Fits here.

Slightly off topic, but the Zed-Parts throttle cable is shorter than OEM.

1. OEM is 72 mm long from threaded end to 'ball' end.
2. Zed-Parts is 60 mm long.
   

Fuel level on OEM carb set at black mark. Overflowing.

Swapped floats to install Scotch made brass floats into eBay carb. Then checked fuel height. All good.

At this point in time, I can't reccomend WiredGeorge carbs to anybody.
