Relive - Entire Ride

I feel like the ride is winding down.
I want more.
Much more.

Late Sept I start a new work gig.
I know this is my last 'big' ride, sad as it is, until 2024.

Horses ready to run. Mounted rider was Englishman, and running light.

Yep. Coast riding is chilly. Heated gear on and lit.

My helmet visor, still attached; a good thing.

Remembering a thought to enjoy the cool, for tomorrow your balls will be sweating...

Wasn't I just here with Fairlaner and SkooterG?
Still a nice ride.

Road start from Leggett to HiWay 1, Steve's declared 'favorite ride'.
"I'm not going to push it, says Steve."
I call 'El Toro Poo-Poo'!devil

Two weeks ago, and again today, horrible sound from FJR forks when on the brakes and hitting a pot hole.
Not good.
About time for a GPS Suspension rebuild me thinks.

SWMBO and I first saw this RV 'site' when travelling with camper. It was wide open today. Lots of spots.

Spectacular.

Spectacular-err-err!

This guy had it going on. Propane tank on swing out tailgate, a big German Sheperd on the bed.
Hard to see the dog.

Seems to me that moto-bike touring is the best way to see countryside. And Beaches too.
The smell, wonderful.

But when it gets this foggy, a nicely heated cage ain't bad either? wink

Headed to Point Arena.

Found this nice Cafe. Really good food, fair price, and the patio was covered and heated. Really nice.

Finally, we're off on route suggested by yours truly! Slightly inland, out of the fog, into sunshine.

What a great route! What a wonderful choice, Don! You da Man!

Ruh-Roh, Ollie.. this ain't right.

The Adventure Begins when the Plan Ends, right?

How quickly the troops turn on you, LOL. I must really be loved judged by the #1's I'm getting.

Later, Steve admitted to an errant WayPoint that led us astray. Had we continued right, no problem, and arrived on 1 just South of Gualala.

To find this mess.

By now, the Sissies are turning into camera buffons!

This big truck made it through. At the next stoplight, he evaluated, ran it, 1 way road, and drove on.
He could see over car tops that it was only 100 feet or so of 1-way... then looked and ran like  a big dog.

Ever seen such a big auger? Shoring up the roadway.

Sucks to be us. Really.

This is where the truck ran the red. He was ahead of the VW.

Pee-Pee break. Steve looks determined to make Petaluma before midnight... blush

Petaluma has money. Many new freshly capped roads like this one.

They Sissies wanted to eat at a place 'Just down the Street'.

My sciatia was flaring. So they went, I stayed at hotel, sat in jacuzzi, ordered BBQ ribs, delivered, for 45 bucks.
Money well spent!
